Muscle Energy Techniques (MET) are an effective massage technique that allow the therapist to restore muscle tone and joint range of motion (ROM) effectively and efficiently. Muscle Energy Techniques (MET) are a form of soft tissue manipulative methods in which the client’s muscles are actively used upon request, from a precisely controlled position in a specific direction, and against a distinctly executed counterforce.
